National Trust

Art Direction, Design + Illustration

Following a thorough market research campaign, the National Trust knew that they needed to revamp their printed marketing materials to further inspire their growing number of visitors to seek out more of the treasures preserved safely within the walls and grounds of their stunning properties.

With an image bank full of beautiful options, new muted colour tones and a warm and friendly tone of voice were added and ‘Little Maps of Inspiration’ were borne.

An important component of which are the illustrative assets which create a narrative to match the properties that they’re featured with. This added a natural look and feel to the highlighted moments felt by visitors when exploring the regions.

The result was a friendly yet informative guide to the reader, showcasing the list of adventures to be had for all the family on a day trip, whilst paying homage to the collections showcased within each unique property.

This project was done at Mad River agency.
