Nigel Millard

Nigel Millard is an internationally acclaimed photographer and author. Best known for his ongoing commissions for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) he came to me with a self-branding project where, as a long-standing crew member himself, he wished to highlight his connection to the RNLI, whilst still create his own visually unique brand.

I struck this balance by designing the flow of infinite lines to essentially mirror his ability to capture movement and unfailing strength within his images. We paid homage to the RNLI by using the same standout bright orange colour scheme that is used on their lifeboats. Letterpress and triplex bonding was used to achieve a high-end premium result, reflecting the exacting standards of Nigel’s images and overall high-end service.
